TMK GIPI successfully delivers pipes of 18m length to Daleel for export gas pipeline & for upgrading mazoon station to DPS production header project – 52KM

The Sultanate’s leading pipe manufacturer, TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry LLC (TMK GIPI), part of global pipe manufacturer TMK, successfully completed the delivery of API 5L X52 (sour service) line pipes for Daleel Petroleum LLC for 5 weeks ahead of schedule.

TMK GIPI is the only manufacturer of 6" to 24" Diameter high pressure Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Steel Pipes and commenced delivery of this order from October 2016. The pipes supplied by TMK GIPI are 18 meters in length. The extended length of 18 meters pipe, rather than a standard length of 12 meters, significantly reduces the end user's construction costs by over 30% on welding, NDT and other associated costs, as well as substantial improvements in the speed of project execution. Additionally, a local manufacturer brings other synergies to the cus-tomer on just in time delivery, less handling and related logistical challenges, as well as providing a cushion against any damaged products, which can be immediately replaced.

Vladimir I Shcherbatykh, CEO of TMK GIPI said, “We are extremely honored to win another contract from Daleel. The fact again proves our company to be a market leader in the Sultanate as well as in the region in providing line pipes & casing pipes for the oil & gas industry as per cus-tomized standards and requirements. The completion of this order ahead of schedule shows our commitment to our valued customer and sincere cooperation between both teams. We will continue to do our best to meet our clients’ expectations for future requirements”.

TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry (TMK GIPI) was established as a Limited Liability Company in Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. TMK GIPI is the first manufacturer of high pressure steel line pipes and casing pipes in Oman and the first mill in MENA region and subcontinent of India to manufacture high pressure 24” electric resistance welded (ERW) steel pipes.
