In stepping up its efforts to further consolidate its position at the leading manufacturer of High Pressure Steel Line Pipes & Casing pipes in Oman & MENA Region, TMK GIPI has bagged yet another contract from Petroleum Development Oman (PDO). The 4000 tones, Fahud West Loop line project will use 12” X65 Sour Grade with 3LPE coating spread over 46kms.
Explaining the importance of the contract, Vladimir I Shcherbatykh, CEO, TMK GIPI, informed, “Fahud West is connected to Yibal GGP (Government Gas Plant) with 44kms 12” CS pipeline. In order to meet the gas supply and to accommodate new production wells, a new 12” 44kms CS loop line project is required and will be operated in parallel with existing pipeline.”
TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) was established as a Limited Liability Company in Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. TMK GIPI is the first manufacturer of High Pressure Steel Line Pipes and Casing Pipes in Oman and the first mill in MENA region and sub-continent of India to manufacture high pressure 24” Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Steel Pipes.
