Singapore delegation visits TMK GIPI mill in Sohar

In its efforts to bolster new business opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman, the Ministry of Commerce and Industries have toured Singaporean delegation to visit the Industrial Estate in Sohar and TMK GIPI Mill have been nominated for the visit.

The delegation visitors, led by His Excellency Ahmed bin Hassan al Dheeb, Under-secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Oman, His Excellency Mr. Ng Teck Hean, Foreign Deputy Secretary (Asia Pacific) from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore and His Excellency Mr. Teng Theng Dar, Non-Resident Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, visited TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry in Sohar as part of the Oman-Singapore joint commit meeting in Sohar.

During the tour the delegation visited the TMK GIPI facility, getting acquainted with its state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.

TMK Gulf International Pipe Industry (TMK GIPI) was established as a Limited Liability Company in Sultanate of Oman in January 2007. TMK GIPI is the first manufacturer of High Pressure Steel Line Pipes and Casing Pipes in Oman and the first mill in MENA region and sub-continent of India to manufacture high pressure 24” Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) Steel Pipes.
