Gulf International Pipe Industry’s President, Dr. Sulaiman Al Farsi, held a strategic meeting with His Excellency Eng. Salim Al Aufi, the Minister of Energy, to discuss recent developments in the energy sector and GIPI’s future direction.
The meeting focused on aligning GIPI’s growth plans with the Sultanate’s national energy strategy, particularly in the areas of industrial localization, innovation, and value-added manufacturing. Dr. Al Farsi shared GIPI’s long-term vision for expanding its role as a key contributor to Oman’s industrial and economic development.
Both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration between the government and the private sector to drive sustainable growth and support In-Country Value (ICV) initiatives.
This high-level engagement reflects GIPI’s commitment to supporting Oman Vision 2040 and strengthening its position as a leading manufacturer in the region.
