Gulf International Pipe Industry (GIPI) SPC, the Sultanate’s leading manufacturer of high-pressure steel pipes, is pleased to announce the award of a significant contract by Daleel Petroleum for the supply and delivery of 30 km of 20” line pipe with 3LPE coating for the Bushra Oil Header Project. The total order will amount to approximately 5,000 metric tons, with deliveries scheduled to commence in April 2026.
This is a successive pipeline contract awarded to GIPI by Daleel Petroleum, further cementing the long-standing partnership between the two companies and reinforcing Daleel’s commitment to in-country value (ICV) by supporting local Omani manufacturers.
GIPI is the only manufacturer in Oman of high-pressure Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) steel pipes ranging from 6" to 24" in diameter. The pipes for this project will be supplied in 18-meter lengths, offering substantial benefits over the standard 12-meter length. The extended pipe length helps reduce construction costs by more than 30% in welding, non-destructive testing (NDT), and associated activities, while also accelerating project timelines.
As a local manufacturer, GIPI provides additional value through just-in-time delivery, minimized handling and logistics challenges, and the ability to quickly replace any damaged products ensuring continuity and efficiency for project execution.
